About this Dog
Say Hello to sweet Benny. This middle-aged Yorkie came to DASH after living his life in a rabbit cage. This boy is tiny at only 5 lbs. and he is totally blind, but that doesn't stop him. He has learned the set up at his foster home with ease and navigates the couple of steps in and out so he can enjoy being out in the fenced in back yard to go potty and to be with the other dogs in the home. He loves to nap on his foster moms lap and will follow her voice from room to room. He also likes to sleep on a soft blanket on the bed at night with his foster mom. He is not a big barker unless it's dinner time and then his little chirps let you know he's hungry! He has had a dental cleaning and has no other health issues other than his eyes. He gets along just fine with all of the other dogs in his foster home and also didn't seem to mind the grandkids when they visited, but due to his tiny size, we recommend children over the age of 8. He has not been cat tested, but feel he would probably be fine with them. He is ready and waiting for that soft spot in your heart and home to spend the rest of his life.

Adopt Benny and Receive Benny's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Benny's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Benny's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Benny, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Benny's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Benny was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Benny’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Benny’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Benny’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
