About this Dog
Sweet Luna came to our rescue with puppies. She was an incredible momma. All of her pups have since been adopted but she is still patiently waiting on someone to call her their girl. She loves walks and just discovered how much she loves the sand volleyball court! This sweet girl came to DASH fearful and shy with little confidence. She has made great strides in the DASH Prison Training Program. Her handler says " Luna is better than a good pet, she's a good friend and a great roommate". When you wake up, she's looking at you like "What are we going to do today?", but she is not afraid to be alone either. She will do best with a person who responds in a calm, relaxed approach. She is highly intelligent, affectionate and loyal and attaches quickly to one person. She loves everyone though. She's a great dog who just needs a chance with a family that has time for her. She will need time to decompress, with love and patience to show her she is safe and part of the family. Luna is not cat-friendly but is sociable with other dogs, just not puppies. She has not been "kid tested" so proper meet & greets are always in order. We are excited and anticipate Luna finding her perfect home. Rescue Luna and she'll rescue you. Apply today!
