About this Dog
Meet Ellie May. She is approximately a 10-12 yr old, 11 pound maltipoo. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and had a recent dental. Ellie is very sweet, but timid. It is suspected that she has had a difficult life prior to coming to DASH. She is not completely house trained, but is making progress. She's quiet unless crated, then she voices her disapproval. She gets along well with other dogs, cats and people of various age although she has not been tested with children under 6 yrs. She has mild damage to one eye that has been checked twice by a vet and they had no concerns about long term problems. She travels well in the car. Ellie would be best with someone that is home alot. She's not one that will jump up in a lap, so her forever family needs to be willing and able to pick her up to place on furniture. She loves her bed and is quiet all night long.
