Just look at this beautiful girl! Polo is blue heeler/Australian Cattle mix who is eager to learn and play. She is learning her basic commands at our DASH Prison Training program. So far, the feedback has been great! She loves people, gets along well with other dogs, although she does claim her toys, she is willing to share her food. She loves both men and women. She has not been tested with children or cats. Her trainer says she loves to play and gets the zoomies so exercise will be necessary. Her recall is excellent, she loves to be the center of attention and will be right by your side to cuddle. Her friendliness is a great attribute. She is housebroken, crate and leash trained. She does well in crowds and tolerates bathing. Her trainer says, "Polo gets very excited when you talk to her, loves to be petted and being by your side. She loves treats, learns new things fast and plays very well with other dogs. She has the cutest soft play growl. She is very happy and loyal". For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Polo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Polo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Polo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Polo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
