About this Cat
I’m reaching out after our most recent phone conversation to help with rehoming of our 5 year old female cat “mittens”. She has been spayed/neutured, has all her vaccines and has been microchipped. We are currently looking to rehome her as from her move from Arizona to Ohio, she has become confrontational with the other cats in our home (multi-cat home) and it has caused our oldest cat to stop eating and hide all the time. The situation is not fair to the other cats and we want to give “mittens” the opportunity to be in a possible single cat home where she can be loved and cared for by someone who can give her the stress free environment she is currently craving. I have attached a pictures of her as you requested and can see her cute and playful nature. She is the striped cat with white paws. The solid gray cat is the one that is not eating and hiding due to their increased aggressive interactions. We really just want to do what’s best for her and our other cats on this one. Mittens is currently located at our home in Amelia, OH.

How will this cat receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the this cat, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming this cat's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and this cat was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, this cat’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the this cat’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, this cat’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
