Foster Home Feedback 8/1/25 Foster Home Feedback: Oscar Martinez is 7 pounds of pure entertainment. He is incredibly sweet and loyal, and a FIERCE protector of his home and his people, which is never not funny being that he is tiny as can be. :) Oscar does not let his small stature deter him from barking and growling to show intruders that they are not welcome in his home until he approves, which again, is quite entertaining to watch. Thankfully, Oscar is figuring out that people aren't really so bad, and warms up quite quickly, insisting on snuggles and belly rubs. Oscar is normally a very chill guy, and is content to hang out with his foster mom in her home office while she works. Oscar is happy to play, though, and loves a (short) walk around the block. He's been around other dogs, cats, and (older) children with no issues, and generally speaking has blended into our chaos nicely. Oscar is still working on potty training, but with consistency likely will have that figured out in no time. Oscar was recently neutered and is ready for his forever home!

For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Oscar Martinez was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Oscar Martinez’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Oscar Martinez’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Oscar Martinez’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
