_________ B I O ______________ Name: Campbell Size: Medium range: 26-60 lbs. Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) . Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check. Other: Spayed Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip, No Cats Campbell has a spring in her step ! Foster Home Feedback ** No Cats 6/29/25 Foster Feedback: I've noticed some common questions when we go to adoption events, here they are for other potential adopters: Is Campbell always this calm? Yes, unless she sees a tennis ball (FYI you will need to buy special super-chewer balls for her to fetch and then chew. Don't worry, they last a few weeks each, a couple will be included with her adoption and we'll always be here to help with recommendations). Would Campbell need a fenced yard? We have a fenced yard so I'm not sure. My feeling is that she would prefer to stay close to her people and wouldn't be much of an explorer if she got loose. Keep in mind that she might not hear your call, though! What about apartments? Typical traits that disqualify a dog from apartment living are: chewing on parts of the property, making noise/barking, doing their business inside, aggression toward people or other pets, and high exercise needs. Campbell does none of these! How is Campbell in the car? Loves it! She alternates between sticking her head out the window and curling up on the seat and hasn't tried to intrude on the driver. How is Campbell with a kennel? Fine, but she is so well behaved that we don't use one. She would also really love to snuggle with you in your bed at night and she sleeps like a rock. Yeah, but, in general, what kind of dog is Campbell? You want a lap dog? She's definitely that. Have other dogs? She's good with that. Want her as your only pup? Perfect. She doesn't mind baths, doesn't mind being picked up, loves walks, loves her ball, doesn't try to take food, I could go on and on. Campbell is literally the cutest, most lovable dog we've fostered; I have a dog I'd trade for her but don't tell him *wink wink* 5/25/25 Foster Home Feedback: What an absolute sweetie-pie! Campbell has been the best little houseguest during her stay with us. Despite her difficult past, this adorable little doggo has nothing but love to give and deserves only the best from here on out. Her sweet little pitty snorts, grunts, and kisses have endeared her to us and we just know you are gonna fall in love with her, too. Campbell is fully house trained, walks on a leash like a dream, and hardly ever barks (unless her foster siblings get her riled up at the postman). Campbell's favorite past time is snuggling with you on the couch, followed closely by chasing/playing with her ball. She gets along well with her foster siblings, but she would also do fine as a solo pup. If you are interested in Campbell there are a few things to note about this adorable pocket pittie: Campbell has had multiple litters of puppies in her previous life. Obviously these multiple pregnancies have altered her body permanently, (which has resulted in her having a pretty adorable little waddle) but now that she has been spayed Campbell has a new lease on life! She is also learning how to just be a dog for the first time in her life. Campbell needs a lot of time to decompress and feel safe in new situations and her fur-ever home will need to give her the grace to feel comfortable with you. The first week in our house she whined, cried, and panted a lot most likely due to fear. Once she realized she was in a safe space, though, Campbell began to show us just how silly she can be. We have also come to realize that Campbell is mostly deaf, and can only hear certain pitches and sounds. We communicate with her mostly with cheek clicks, clapping, and whistles, so continued training/compassion from her fur-ever folks is an absolute must. Campbell isn't sure how to play with smaller dogs and shoulders up to them, leading to the littles feeling intimidated. Since she can't hear well, she doesn't take their cues and they have no choice but to lash out. She has never retaliated and only her presence is intimidating, just be aware that it might take some time for her to develop a good relationship with dogs under 30lb or so. She does no such thing with our larger dog and ends up playing appropriately with her. 3/29/25 Temporary Care Feedback: Campbell was an absolute sweetheart during my visit! She adores cuddles and being read to, which makes her such a gentle and loving companion. She really enjoys chewing on tennis balls, but I’d recommend using sturdier toys like Kongs, as she tried to tear through the one I brought her. Overall, I had a fantastic time with Campbell today—she’s a joy to be around!

Adopt Campbell and Receive Campbell's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Campbell's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Campbell's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Campbell, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Campbell's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Campbell was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Campbell’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Campbell’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Campbell’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
