Hello! White Paws is very cuddly with her human, and has no problem climbing up on your chest or face to let you know its petting time! White Paws loves to be held and carried around, so she can feel involved in whatever you're doing. She is extremely playful and curious and into everything! While she has not met kids or dogs, she should be fine with both, given proper introductions. She did test positive for FIV at intake, and will need to be re-tested again around 6 months of age to get conclusive results. All4cats will provide the testing. If you are interested in meeting her, please contact the rescue to set up a meet and greet. I am located in the Wilmington, NC area. Unless otherwise noted I can be met on Saturdays at one of our adoption events. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and White Paws was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, White Paws’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the White Paws’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, White Paws’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
