Hello! This one year old cutie was a feral momma that came to us back in February but with a little help, she has decided she is ready to find a place to call home. She is good with kids, dogs, and other cats but prefers a nice quiet place to get adjusted. She will need someone who is patient with her and can understand her signals when she doesn’t want to be touched. She loves to play with strings and enjoys squeeze treats. She also loves being scratched with a back scratcher. She is super quiet and sweet. She would make a great companion to another animal or human. Once given the chance, I know she has the potential to be a snuggly lap kitty. She just needs more time to feel comfortable. I am located in the Wilmington, NC area. Unless otherwise noted I can be met on Saturdays at one of our adoption events. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Loaded Baked Potato was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Loaded Baked Potato’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Loaded Baked Potato’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Loaded Baked Potato’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
