Hello! Miss missy is available to foster to adopt! She is extremely sweet and loves to sit next to her person while getting pets. She is very sassy and will let you know when she wants something. Miss Missy will need regular grooming and has a shave appointment covered by our rescue on 1/8. She will coexist with dogs & other cats if they respect her space, but she does not want to be pals with anyone. ** disclaimer after 203 days of treatment with our rescue and treatment from another rescue. It has been determined that her because of her breed that she will most likely occasionally get a runny/snotty nose for the rest of her life. We recommend keeping her on L-lysine with food as a supplement. I am located in the Wilmington, NC area. Unless otherwise noted I can be met on Saturdays at one of our adoption events. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Miss Missy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Miss Missy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Miss Missy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Miss Missy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
