About this Cat
Orca is a sweet, affectionate girl who's looking for a loving home where she can be someone's loyal companion. She loves being close to her people and would happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company.
While Orca is incredibly loving, we've found that she can be a little nervous around our three young, energetic children. Because of this, we believe she'd thrive in a quieter home with less daily commotion, where she can feel relaxed and confident.
Orca has always done wonderfully with other dogs. She was best friends with our previous dog, who has since passed, and has formed an equally close bond with our current dog. She truly enjoys canine companionship.
Our biggest hope is to find Orca a calm, caring home where she'll receive the love, patience, and attention she deserves. We know she'll make a wonderful, devoted companion for the right person or family.

Adopt Orca and Receive Orca's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Orca's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

How will Orca receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Orca, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Orca's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Orca was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Orca’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Orca’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Orca’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
