About this Dog
Say hi to Artemis, our beloved longest-stay resident, who has been patiently waiting for his forever home for 78 days. Despite his time at the shelter, he hasnât lost his spirit and is still holding out hope for a loving family to come and free him from shelter life.Artemis recently enjoyed a weekend getaway, where he finally got to stretch his legs and feel the warmth of love and affection. Heâs an expert at couch cuddles and will happily snuggle up on your lap, making it nearly impossible for you to resist his charm! While heâs friendly with other dogs and has enjoyed some playtime, Artemis is more comfortable with gentle, calm pups who wonât crowd him. While he was in foster care, we discovered that he is not fond of cats and tends to become vocal when he sees them. Additionally, he had a few accidents and may need some help with potty training, but heâs excellent in his crate and a smart pup who is eager to learn.Artemis has a soft spot for squishy, crinkly toys, and his joyful personality will bring so much warmth to a loving home. All he needs is a patient and caring family to help him transition from shelter life and discover his true potential. If you think you could be the loving family Artemis has been waiting for, he would be thrilled to meet you at the shelter! And hereâs the best partâhis adoption FEE is WAIVED, plus he comes with two FREE in-person training sessions from Highland K9 to help him adjust into his new home.

Adopt ARTEMIS and Receive ARTEMIS's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, ARTEMIS's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is ARTEMIS's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the ARTEMIS, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming ARTEMIS's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ARTEMIS was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ARTEMIS’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ARTEMIS’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ARTEMIS’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
