About this Dog
Ziggy Valentine is the sweetest 55lb pit mix about 9 years old. He deserves the best life.He loves to cuddle, run free and get treats and bones to chew. He is house trained and extremely loyal and loving. I used to take him hiking on desolate trails and he'd run free and check back in every ~10 min and then run off and come back when I called him. He is an awesome dog, friend and hiking buddy. It breaks my heart to no longer be able to care for him and he still has much life and zest left in him. I know we are going to find him the right home. He is scared of thunder storms and when he gets excited he jumps up. He would be great in an indoor loving home with places to run free or run with other female dogs or bigger livestock. Due to health and small children at home, I'm unable to care for him and need to find him a loving companion

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and this dog was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, this dog’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the this dog’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, this dog’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
