Hello Friends, my name is Slim Shady. I was named this due to the fact that I was found very skinny on the side of Shady Grove Road. I have completed my stray hold and am now excited to say that I am looking for my Furever home. I am a sweet guy who seems to LOVE other cats. I even think my foster brother cat needs to be near me very close so I can blend in to his black fur and play hide and seek. I am hoping that someone will come to meet me soon so I can come live with them and start my best life. Please put in an application today. Special information regarding adopting Puppies and Kittens* Our adoption fees are: * Altered adult cats $95 * Kittens under 4 months who have not been spayed or neutered or who have a medical reason why they cannot be altered before adoption - $70 plus S/N Deposit: $ 100 if not altered prior to adoption Our policy is that all adopted animals must be spayed or neutered before leaving the premises. If at any time an animal under the age of 4 months leaves our rescue group unaltered, the adopters must sign and agree to our spay/neuter contract. This contract states each adopter agrees to have the animal being adopted spayed/neutered by a veterinarian of their choice by the age of 4 months. As part of this contract an additional $ 100 deposit fee will be required. This deposit fee will be refunded upon verification of the spay/neuter contract. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Slim Shady was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Slim Shady’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Slim Shady’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Slim Shady’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
