About this Cat
Crystal is a spayed female tortoiseshell cat, born in January 2024. From outside having kittens when she was still very young, to being caught and spayed, Crystal is adapting well to a full belly and a warm place to sleep. Crystal has really made progress and now trusts me to handle her and to pet her. I am working with her every day. She is learning about the life of an indoor pampered cat, and it is well deserved! Crystal would do well in a quieter home setting. She gets along well with other cats. I have not introduced her to our dogs, yet, because I am taking time with her to adapt. Crystal is a beautiful cat, with gorgeous markings, and is waiting for that perfect forever home. With rescue from RCHS, she will not know hunger or cold, again. Indoor cat only. The adoption fee is $25. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Crystal was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Crystal’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Crystal’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Crystal’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
