Wink is a spayed female black and white cat born June 1, 2023. As you might have guessed from my name, I’m a little extra special—I only have one eye! I recently had to have it removed due to an injury, but don’t worry—it hasn’t dimmed my spirit one bit. Because of my new look, my foster mom says I’ll need to stay indoors from now on. Honestly? I’m loving indoor life! I have a cozy bed to nap in, regular meals (on command, no less!), and even a sweet resident dog who gives me all the attention I could ask for. I’ll be honest—I’m a bit shy at first. But with a little patience and kindness, I’ll slowly start to show you just how much love I have to give. My past life as a stray means I do best in a calm, quiet home where I can feel safe and adjust at my own pace. If you're looking for a sweet, soulful companion who just needs a little time to shine, I might be the perfect match for you. Indoor cat only! The adoption fee is $25. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Wink was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Wink’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Wink’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Wink’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
