About this Dog
Meet Sydney – A Sweet Mama Looking for Her Forever Home This gentle soul is Sydney, a beautiful hound who was found roaming the streets, unclaimed while being very pregnant. Despite her rough start, she brought six gorgeous puppies into the world on 4/1, and now that they’re growing strong (with four still waiting for their own homes), it’s Sydney‘s turn to be loved and cared for the way she’s always deserved. Sydney is a shy and tender girl, the kind of dog who quietly places her head on your leg or arm just to feel close to you. She’s not pushy—just quietly grateful. She thrives in a calm, nurturing environment and wants nothing more than to be near her people. Personality: • Sweet, quiet, and gentle • Shy at first, but bonds deeply once she feels safe • Loves human companionship—especially snuggling up close • She’s just starting to discover how to play! You can see the spark in her when she tries—tail wags, little pounces, and playful curiosity. It’s clear she wants to play and is learning what joy feels like. Her playful nature is blossoming, and it’s heartwarming to watch. Dog-Friendly: Sydney seems to do well with other dogs and would likely enjoy the companionship of a calm, friendly pup to help her continue coming out of her shell. Ideal Home: She would do best in a foster or adoptive home where she can receive lots of love, patience, and attention. Sydney has missed out on years of affection—she deserves a home that will make up for lost time. A home that gives her space to learn, play, and love freely. Whether you’re looking to foster or adopt, Sydney is ready to fill your life with quiet love, budding joy, and soulful eyes that say “thank you” every single day. Sydney is ready for her happily ever after. Will it be with you? Apply to Foster at https://www.apsofpc.org/foster.php or Apply to Adopt at https://www.apsofpc.org/adoptionProcess.php.

Adopt Sydney and Receive Sydney's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sydney's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sydney's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sydney, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sydney's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sydney was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sydney’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sydney’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sydney’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
