About this Dog
Meet Banana – The Sweetest Little Peel You’ll Ever Love! Banana came to us in rough shape, and while we’ll never know exactly what happened, her body told a story of pain and perseverance. X-rays revealed multiple fractures in her pelvis and hips, but this strong, sassy girl has shown us she’s tougher than she looks! After a visit with an orthopedic specialist, we were thrilled to learn that Banana does not need surgery—just 4–6 more weeks of limited activity and no rough play, and she’s expected to make a full recovery. In fact, she’s already walking and running like a pro, which gives us every reason to believe she’ll bounce back completely. Down the line, she may have some minor hip or knee discomfort, but it’s just something to keep an eye on—not a guarantee. This houndy-hearted girl is the perfect mix of snuggly, silly, and sassy. She’s a rockstar in the crate, making great progress with potty training, and she absolutely loves curling up with her people for a good snuggle session. If you're looking for a companion who’s been through the ruff stuff and still shines with sweetness, Banana might just be your top pick. She promises to keep things soft, sweet, and just a little bit wild—like any good Banana should. pipsrescue.org/adopt

100% of Banana's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Banana.
Adopt Banana and Receive Banana's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Banana's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Banana's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Banana, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Banana's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Banana was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Banana’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Banana’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Banana’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
