About this Dog
I am looking for the perfect home for my sweet boy Pee Wee.
We are located in the Raleigh area and willing to travel. He is a 3 year old, 12 pound Chihuahua mix.
Pee Wee is the biggest cuddle bug and loves nothing more than to snuggle with his people. He also loves going on walks, lounging outside, and being wherever his favorite people are! I think he would do great in a home with another dog because he enjoys companionship and gets lonely.
Pee Wee has anxiety around unfamiliar people. He is incredibly loving and loyal once he knows you, but strangers make him very nervous. When guests come over, he may bark, growl, and shake because he feels like he needs to protect his family. He has never been violently aggressive or bitten anyone, but he becomes unpleasant when his anxiety is raised around strangers.
Pee Wee needs a quieter, slower paced home with fewer visitors and a predictable routine where he can feel safe and relaxed. He is truly the sweetest dog I have ever known. This is the hardest decision to make, but I know he deserves a home that better fits his needs.

How will PeeWee receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the PeeWee, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming PeeWee's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and PeeWee was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, PeeWee’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the PeeWee’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, PeeWee’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
