Cassi is a very sweet and sensitive girl who is looking for a laid back family to call her own. She would love another dog in her forever home that is confident and well behaved, to help show her that new things aren't scary. She does have some anxiety, and is currently taking medications that are making a huge difference for her. She would do best living in a home with experienced dog owners who are patient with her, and willing to provide a consistent environment for her to thrive. She would do well with kitties, but they should a dog savvy cat would be best. Cassi can be vocal, so she would not do well in high density housing. Cassi needs humans who are not gone for long hours. All humans in her forever home must be 12 years of age, or older. She requires a fenced in yard (physical fencing no invisible fences please). She is up to date on preventative medications, vaccines and has been spayed and micro chipped too.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cassi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cassi’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cassi’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cassi’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
