About this Cat
Ziggy is a very gentle, loving and polite girl. She loves her head and ears scratched. When she first came to her foster home she did not hide under the bed but was very comfortable sitting next to me. She always comes when called. Most of the time she's sitting behind one of the bedroom curtains looking outside from the windowsill. She has the sweetest, most expectant expression. Very endearing. After three months Ziggy crawled up in my lap! I felt like that was huge. She's always willing to snuggle right up whether I'm sitting or lying down. Ziggy just wants to be loved. Ziggy LOVES to lie in the sun. To keep her off the DR table(!), we finally put a cat bed in one of the dining room chairs and turned it towards the wall of windows. Ziggy is a sun worshipper! We can generally find her in that spot, especially on cold days. The best household for Ziggy is one without young children, or any other animals. While my grandchildren were visiting, she'd hide until the evening when the 2-year old was in bed(!) She'd thrive best in a home with adults home most of the day. She does enjoy being around her humans. While Ziggy isn't a playful cat, she does love the laser pointer. Evening zoomies can be expected! She also does not like to be picked up, ever. Her coming to you must be her idea. While she loves affection she is not a "cat in arms" snuggle bunny.

Adopt Ziggy and Receive Ziggy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ziggy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Ziggy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Ziggy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ziggy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ziggy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ziggy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ziggy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ziggy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
