Hi, my name is Grace. I’m a very sweet, precious well-behaved young lady. I’m always smiling and my nub wags happily all day.And I just love giving hugs and kisses! I was rescued from a big hoarding case in Texas. I’m so grateful to have that horrible past behind me and I am eager for a fresh start with a loving family. I know sit, down, how to hold hands and walk nicely on a leash. I’m friendly with other dogs. How about cats, you ask? Well here’s the thing with cats. I used to live with one and I thought it was so much fun to chase him. I never tried to hurt him though. So I guess it depends on the personality of your cat how we would get along. Any way, I am housebroken, crate trained, spayed, and up to date on all my vaccinations. I’m also heartworm negative and microchipped. All I need now is a loving family to share my life with. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gracie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gracie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Gracie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gracie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
