Why hello, I'm Ice Cream, the one and only fabulously feathered celebrity bird, and this is my pal Sprinkles! You might know us from our many adoring fans, but let me tell you, being a star is no easy feat. Between our brave adventures, curious explorations, and independent spirit, we're always keeping the staff on their toes. But don't let our Hollywood attitude fool you - we're also incredibly intelligent. We love learning new things and keeping our minds sharp. Whether it's mastering the latest tricks or figuring out how to open that tricky treat dispenser, we're always up for a challenge. So if you're looking for feathered friends who can bring a little excitement and a lot of personality into your life, then we're your gals! Let's start our journey to stardom together.How did we get here? Sprinkles was transferred from Craven Pamlico Animal Services; Ice Cream was surrendered by their owner when they could no longer care for them.**We are a bonded pair, so we must go home together! We're currently living in a foster home - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet us in person!**~Our adoption fee is $80.00 and we do not come with an enclosure~

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, ICE CREAM's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ICE CREAM was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ICE CREAM’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ICE CREAM’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ICE CREAM’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
