About this Dog

(Posted on other pages as well: I’ve reached out and been rejected by pay no kill shelters etc. )Both dogs need to be rehomed. Both are in Linden, Harnett County. and have lived together since 2015. Lilly, the black lab was adopted from the shelter in Fayetteville in late 2012. She is well behaved, loves people and other dogs, loves children too. She weighs 68 lbs. She is about 12 years old. The other dog, Petunia or “Tuney” was adopted at the Fayetteville shelter in 2015, she is about 10-11 years old. She loves adults and other dogs but does not care for small children. She weighs 45 lbs. Neither dog has ever bitten but Tuney does like to be expressive, It’s just her nature but she’s a sweet dog who craves attention. My health reasons are why they must go, doctor’s order. ( yes I’m sad and I have fought against doing this) Would prefer they stay together. Both potty, leash and kennel trained. Lilly has lost hearing but still responds to visual cues and clapping or whistling . Please message if you can take them or know someone who can. Will provide leashes and bowls free. They have been seen at Riverbarq in Spring Lake… but are due. This page does not permit rehoming fees but rest assured I will vet you. This means you, dogfighting jerks. I need help finding these dogs a new good home, not judgement. Let me know if you can help.

Adopt Lilly and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lilly's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Lilly receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Lilly, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Lilly's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lilly was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lilly’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Lilly’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lilly’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
