DD is dog, cat, and kid friendly, and her laid-back personality makes her a wonderful fit for all kinds of families. She's the kind of dog that blends into the rhythm of your life with ease. She is a master of making herself comfortable, complete with a dramatic groan when she settles in for a nap. And when you walk through the door? Get ready for an enthusiastic greeting that includes tail wags loud enough to announce your arrival to the entire house. She’s house trained, crate trained and trusted to free roam when alone. She naps on the couch or by the door patiently awaiting your arrival. No fenced yard needed, and her leash manners are top notch. DD would enjoy the company of another dog in her forever home but she is also content on her own. DD has a soft, gentle soul and may be a little shy at first, but with a kind voice and a few treats, she’ll soon be your best friend. With her low-to-moderate energy and sweet nature, DD is the kind of dog who just gets you—calm, loyal, and always happy to be by your side. She will happily snuggle all day on the couch or join you on all your adventures! DD is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and currently being fostered just outside of Charlotte, NC. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and DD - Adoption Pending was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, DD - Adoption Pending’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the DD - Adoption Pending’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, DD - Adoption Pending’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
