Hello, my name is Kelsey
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to see if you are open to taking a dog I found abandoned ? He’s an 11-week-old puppy.
He was recently abandoned at a gas station near my job, and I found him while on lunch. Since I had to go back to work, I could not take him with me so I brought him to the nearest animal shelter. I then found out that animal shelter had a high kill rate if the dog isn’t adopted within 20 days. Additionally, they are were only open 3 days a week and only for 4 hours during times most people are at work. Making it very difficult for anyone to adopt any dogs. They also do not advertise that they have dogs available for adoption on any platform.
I was able to rescue him from that shady shelter so he would not be killed and have been tending to him the best I can. I want to rehome him to a proper and loving rescue that does not euthanize. Unfortunately, I am not able to keep him permanently due to my work schedule and I live alone and have no family in this state. So, I am hoping you can be of service and take him in so he can have a proper family that can love him.

How will Koda receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Koda, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Koda's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Koda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Koda’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Koda’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Koda’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
