If you’re looking for a dog who will love you with her whole heart, meet Dolly. 🤍
Dolly is a beautiful [4-year-old] Texas Heeler/Pit Bull mix, and honestly, “sweet” doesn’t even begin to describe her. She absolutely adores people. She loves meeting new humans, getting attention, being loved on, and making her people happy. She has such a loving, affectionate personality, and once she loves you, she REALLY loves you.
This is an incredibly difficult post for us to make because Dolly is not a dog we ever imagined having to say goodbye to. She is deeply loved, and the decision to look for another home has been made with an incredibly heavy heart.
Dolly deserves a home where she can receive the time, attention, structure, and one-on-one love that she deserves. We want to find her a family who will see what we see in her: a goofy, loving, loyal girl with so much love to give.
She is wonderful with people and has always been an absolute sweetheart with humans. ❤️ She would do best as the only female dog in the home, and her future family should be willing to give her the proper time, boundaries, supervision, and guidance around food, toys, and attention.
We aren’t looking for just anyone to take Dolly. We are looking for HER people. The kind of family who will let her become part of their lives, love her through her quirks, give her a safe and stable home, and never make her wonder whether she is loved.
She has so many wonderful qualities that I hope the right person will take the time to see. She is affectionate, silly, loyal, loving, and incredibly special to us.
Giving her up doesn’t mean we stopped loving her. It means we love her enough to put her needs first, even though it hurts. 🥺💔
Our biggest hope is that Dolly’s next home will be her forever home—a place where she can be someone’s spoiled girl, receive all the attention she deserves, and live the happy life we know she is capable of having.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dolly's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

How will Dolly receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Dolly, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Dolly's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dolly was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dolly’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Dolly’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dolly’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
