Annie, affectionately known as Mocha, is a sweet, smart and loving 16 month old American Staffordshire Terrrier mix. She is eager to please and thrives on one on one attention, making her the perfect companion for anyone that does not have other pets. She is house and crate trained, will sit, wait to be given the take command to take a treat, come when called and understands ‘go lay down’ and ‘crate’. She lives to go on walks and likes car rides. . She is smart and a quick learner. She loves her bones and toys but does think pillows fall into that category as she loves to liberate the fluff in dog toys. She is very gentle and will let you take food or toys away with no trouble. She is very affectionate with people and will alert you to people near the house but does not get along with other dogs. Mocha would be the perfect addition to a family that is looking for a sweet loyal companion that can show her love and attention but have no other pets.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ANNIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ANNIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ANNIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ANNIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
