About this Dog
Pepper was part of a hoarding case in Granville County being kept in very poor conditions. ************************************************************************ UPDATE: Pepper's age is approximate, but she acts puppy-like. She came to our rescue pregnant and her babies were born June 6th. She originally was pregnant with 6 babies but only two survived. They are now old enough to be weaned, so mama is ready to be adopted. She is a great dog. Her name fits her....she is spicy and peppy! She has thus far been what we call a velcro dog.....she has one person she favors....but that may very well be because "that" person has been providing care for her babies. Pepper is very playful and loves little toys. She has gotten along well with her fosters' other dogs and cats, although she has been very protective of her babies and it is only when any of them get too close to the babies that she lets them know she doesn't like it! She loves to cuddle when she is ready to stop playing. She sleeps on the bed with her fosters' other pets. Pepper will make someone a fabulous pet! Once she has "dried up" she will be ready to be spayed. The adoption fee is $400, which covers vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed. Adopt Pepper and Receive Pepper's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Pepper's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Pepper's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Pepper, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Pepper's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pepper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pepper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Pepper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pepper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
