About this Dog
Meet Rosie â a Great Pyrenees mix with the soul of a gentle giant and the instincts of a barnyard supervisor. Rosie thrives with another dog in the home to help show her the ropes â think of them as her emotional support roommate and life coach. She's happiest when she has some four-legged company and a bit of land to stretch her legs. A farm or homestead would be her dream gig â she takes her self-appointed job as âpuppy nannyâ very seriously and is wonderfully nurturing with younger dogs.Rosie is working on the basics. She's doing well with house training but will rely on another dog to help her understand your household schedule. Sheâs learning âsit,â âcome,â and âleave it,â and while crates arenât exactly her jam yet, sheâs giving it an honest try. Sheâs not a water fan (donât even say the word âbathâ), and car rides are still a work in progress. On the plus side, she walks nicely on a leash and lights up with praise like you just handed her a gold medal. Now, letâs talk personality. Rosie is 90% love bug, 10% unintentional wrecking ball. Sheâs the type to wedge herself right next to you on the couch like a 100-pound lapdog and accidentally take down a lamp on her way. She's sweet, snuggly, and great with kids â though due to her size and âoops, did I do that?â energy, sheâs probably a better match for kids over 6.If youâve got dogs, a little space to roam, and a soft spot for lovable goofballs with big hearts, Rosie might just be your girl.
Contribute to ROSIE's Stash!

100% of ROSIE's balance will be sent to whoever adopts ROSIE.
Adopt ROSIE and Receive ROSIE's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, ROSIE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is ROSIE's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the ROSIE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming ROSIE's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ROSIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ROSIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ROSIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ROSIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
