July 20, 2024 These two handsome brothers are doing great, having recently been returned to FURR, so once again they’re looking for a new home. Terry adopted out Perch & Blue Marlin a couple months ago, however the adopter’s situation recently changed and, sadly, they are no longer able to keep these kitties. While Terry follows a careful, thorough process to evaluate and approve interested adopters, sometimes things just don’t work out as planned. Fortunately, FURR accepts returns of kitties originally adopted from us to ensure they never again end up where they started – homeless and in need of rescue! His brother, Perch, is not shown but they look just alike! July 2023 I'm the sweetest boy and just a teensy shy, but OH I'm so soft & I love to be petted!!! I get along great with all the other kitties and everyone at FURR loves me! I have a brother named Perch and we look just alike! What's more beautiful than a silvery smooth Russian Blue mix!!!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Blue Marlin & Perch was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Blue Marlin & Perch’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Blue Marlin & Perch’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Blue Marlin & Perch’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
