May 18, 2025 Meet Marcus – an affectionate, eight-month-old canine with a unique charm. With his small build and striking blue-gray coat—with a distinctive white mark gracing the top of his head—Marcus immediately stands out. Weighing around 45 lbs, his sweet nature is evident in every wag of his tail. Marcus is fully vetted and neutered, ensuring he’s in prime health for his new adventure. He’s already well-adjusted to family life, getting along delightfully with our own dog. His informal training is exemplary too – he’s house and crate trained, making the transition to your home smooth and hassle-free. He sticks to a simple diet of kibble and water and even displays a gentle tolerance around our cat, steadily learning to ignore her! So much so that even the cat ignores Marcus. We’re excited to offer Marcus a loving forever home without a rehoming fee. However, a vet referral is required to ensure his continued care and well-being. If you're looking for a loyal, well-mannered companion who’s ready to fill your home with warmth and joy, Marcus might be the perfect match. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Marcus was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Marcus’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Marcus’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Marcus’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
