HANDSOME HANSEL For some reason after about 4 years, Hansel's sister Gretal (from the same litter) started having issues with him and it caused a lot of tension and fighting between the two. She was hostile and it made him nervous. He started having issues with marking. We tried all of the suggestions from our vet including medication for both of them. We had to move to a new location for my husband's job and marking was something that we could not have in the new home. It was horrible having to choose between them. I have had a number of cats in my life that I have loved for their own unique traits but Hansel has been hands down the sweetest cat that I have ever had. He loves to be petted and is very social and silly. Gretal is sweet in her own way but does not warm up to people as easily as Hansel. I worried that if she was in a situation where strangers would be trying to get to know her they would not see all she has to offer and she would be less likely to find a forever home. Many tears were cried over this decision and I put off taking this step by having Hansel stay with my daughter and her two cats but she now has to move as well and can only have 2 cats. So it has come to this. My daughter has to move quickly and I have not been able to find Hansel a new home . Please help!!! About 3 years ago Hansel started getting crystals in his bladder. This happened a number of times in a short period and the vet recommended a surgery that widened his urethra. Since the surgery he has been on a diet of Purina® Pro Plan® Veterinary Diets Cat Food - UR, Urinary St/Ox prescribed by his vet at Town N Country Animal Hospital in Burlington, NC/336-227-9979 . He also gets a 1/2 a can of wet food and distilled water every day. He has not had any issues in quite a while. He has had issues with marking in the past when he gets nervous. He may try to climb where he is not supposed to. We did not have an issue with the climbing when he lived with us but we had cat trees for climbing and my daughter let him get away with more than we did. I am sure it is a habit that he can be broken of but he does love to be up high. He is an absolutely wonderful boy with much to offer in the way of love, cuddles, and laughter. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and HANSEL was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, HANSEL’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
