About this Dog
B.J. (Beethoven Joy) is a sweet 5yr, 165 lbs, non registered AKC Saint Bernard. He was left willed to me from a friend who suddenly passed away. He grew up in a pre civil war cabin in NC with no heat or AC. Only relying on fans, mud puddles and space heaters for respite. He was a free roaming dog and was pretty much left to his own accord. He gets along well with other dogs. Not sure about children or cats. He does exhibit dominant traits like humping and over food. B.J. has not had any obedience training at all. I’ve tought him sit and he’s learning come. He walks good on a leash but will pull you like a Mac truck if he sees another dog. I have a small 13 lbs. Ratcha that he loves playing with but the Ratcha is more in defensive than playful. B.J. has been very passive against the Ratcha’s attacks.

What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the B.J.(Beethoven Joy)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, B.J.(Beethoven Joy)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
