About this Dog
Henry is a 2-3 yr old, 11 lb. Pekingese, perhaps mixed with Pomeranian. He was picked up as a stray by concerned citizens who kept seeing him in the road and then turned over to an area animal shelter, but no one ever came to claim him. We cannot figure out why because he is a darling dog! Henry walks nicely on a leash and appears housetrained. He likes to be where his person is and will follow you from room to room. He will get underfoot and is a tripping hazard, so you have to look before you move. Henry is young and quick, so he is best suited for a similar adopter. Henry gets along with other small dogs and will wrestle and play with one who wants to do the same. If there is another dog in the home, it should weigh 16 lbs or less. WE REQUIRE AN ALL-ADULT HOME (NO YOUNG CHILDREN) WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD FOR Henry'S ADOPTIVE HOME. The secure fence must be 4ft or higher, with gaps no greater than 2 inches, and attached to the home. An invisible fence, enclosed patio, terrace or deck, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. If your fencing has "puppy pickets" (or is supplemented with garden fencing) it needs to be at least 36 inches high from the ground up AT THE LOWEST POINT. No exceptions. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, North Carolina to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing. Adoption Fee: $500

Adopt Henry and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Henry's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Henry's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Henry, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Henry's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Henry was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Henry’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Henry’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Henry’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
