Hi there! My name is Waylon, and I am a happy go lucky guy! I really am the perfect dog. I love to play, cuddle, go on adventures with you, or just join you in watching tv. I am someone who truly enjoys walks, and the toy bin, I can’t forget to tell you about the toy bin! My foster mom keeps all of my toys in a bin, but I like to keep all of my toys out of the bin, scattered on the floor. We like to play a game with them, well I do. The game is called “foster mom puts toys in the bin, and foster dog dumps the bin so he can see all the toys he has”. I have no idea what’s she’s talking about when she says that I do this, but anyway, I do it so that I pick which toy I am going to play with. Even though I love my toys, what I really want is a family of my own to love, and to be loved by. You see, my last owner cared for me but was no longer able to keep me, and so RUFF stepped up and has given me a second chance. They say third times the charm though, so can I charm you into being my forever? I truly do hope so. If you are interested in me, please put in an application so I have the chance to meet you! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Waylon was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Waylon’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Waylon’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Waylon’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
