About this Dog
Yuna is the sweetest pup you will ever meet. We rescued her about a year ago and since then she has really started to come out of her shell. She is still "learning how to be a dog" in a way, but everyday you can actively see her working so hard to overcome her fears and anxiety. She takes a while to warm up to people but peanut butter is always appreciated. She likes to sit up on the coach near those she feels comfortable with and even has spurts of energy where she likes to play and gets zoomies around the house. She is very calm and passive and doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body. She is very skittish and aware of her surroundings, but with time she learns to be comfortable with her home and people. She plays well with dogs of all temperaments, but does best with calmer more respectful dogs. She is calm around cats and usually pays them no mind at all, she never chases them and respects their boundaries. Our hearts are heavy knowing we cannot provide the life she deserves but we know she will flourish in a calm and loving home that shows her patience and grace while she continues to really overcome her fears and learn how to play and interact with the world around her.

How will Yuna receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Yuna, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Yuna's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Yuna was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Yuna’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Yuna’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Yuna’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
