About this Dog
Delightful Ruthie is just the best little dog. 30lbs of happy, kind energy, nothing will brighten your day like the joy you get from this little girl when you return home. Ruthie is right around 10 months old as of July 1st, she's housebroken, crate trained and has a smile for everyone she meets. Ruthie adores dogs, kids and cats, though she doesn't quite understand that cats are not all up for wrestle and chase games. That'll be easily fixed by a couple of swats and some firm boundaries by the cat who owns the home. Her teenager-ness is not too bad, she may chew on a few things that are left around, and she may forget she's on a leash and dive at something that catches her attention, but overall she's doing quite well for a little girl who probably had little to no house time before we met her. Ruthie's foster sums her up quite nicely: "Some lovely winged eyeliner and a cute heart shaped nose!! She is a LOVER GIRL! Loves attention, cuddling, chewing a toy to the scraps, loves to run in the yard and easily entertains herself. Big fan of training treats. Would do fine as a single dog but I think she gets a lot of joy and learns quickly from having a friend in the house to look up to." Sound like the smile you want to come home to? Adopt Ruthie and Receive Ruthie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ruthie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Ruthie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Ruthie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ruthie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ruthie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ruthie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ruthie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ruthie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
