Contact foster at [email protected] Just a super goofy hound with the biggest ears in town- Active guy who loves a long walk or hike every day- no couch potato here!- I'm good at using a crate but am also getting better at staying out when my familyâs away- I bond quickly to my person and will be their constant shadow- I'm totally fine with kids but I donât always pay attention to personal space- I love being a snuggle bunny and getting lots of affection from my family - I love having a fenced yard to zoom around and explore in- Probably not great in an apartment because I tend to bark when my family leaves/when Iâm excited- Iâm a hound, therefore training takes a little more time- I enjoy other dogs but Iâm not a fan of groups like dog parks or daycare- Iâve already done the hard part of heartworm treatment, and the shelter will provide the rest!- I have a high prey drive toward things like cats, so Iâll need training to learn how to be friends- If youâre looking for a snuggly and happy boy to keep you laughing, thatâs me!

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, SHYLO's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and SHYLO was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, SHYLO’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the SHYLO’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, SHYLO’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
