Watch his video segment here: https://www.wccbcharlotte.com/2024/05/08/pet-of-the-week-meet-topple-yoshi/Topple, also known as Yoshi, is a handsome and unique Belgian Malinois/Akita mix looking for his forever home. He is a sweet, loyal, and snuggly boy who recently had his back left leg amputated due to a long-term injury. He is recovering in foster care and is quickly adjusting to life as a tripawd! He could be the perfect companion for someone who loves the shepherd look but can't keep up with the exercise needs of a high energy working dog.More about Topple/ Yoshi:- Truly an amazing recovery from surgery. He currently gets around without support in a one story home with short staircases (4-5 steps) leading outside. - Chill and mild energy level. Currently spends most of the day sleeping and cuddling. Exercise needs can be met with a few short walks and some command practice. As he recovers he may be more active but adopter should look into health tips for tripod dogs.- Curious and treat-motivated. Knows basic commands and learns quickly. Has mastered sit, shake, down, and high-five.- Very sweet and loyal. Really loves spending time with his people. Loves belly rubs.- Fully house-trained. No accidents. He had a little trouble getting into his normal pee positions after surgery, but he has the process mastered now!- Crate-trained but doesn't need it - he is not destructive when left alone outside of crate. We leave the crate doors open in case he wants to treat it like a den.- Loves walks and being outdoors. Likes playing catch, tug-of-war, and playing with soft toys. Of course he is relearning how to play his favorite games with only 3 legs and needs his humans to keep an eye on his recovery.- Can be leash reactive to other dogs. He has done fine in foster home separated from (but within sight/sound of) other male dogs. We hope to have more notes soon on who his preferred dog buddies might be, but he would be perfectly content as a spoiled only dog!Reach out to the foster if you're interested in meeting Topple/Yoshi, or if you have questions about the tripawd lifestyle. 100% of TOPPLE's Dogecoin balance will be sent to whoever adopts TOPPLE.
Adopt TOPPLE and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, TOPPLE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is TOPPLE's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the TOPPLE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming TOPPLE's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and TOPPLE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, TOPPLE’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the TOPPLE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, TOPPLE’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
