About this Dog
Handsome Romeo found himself in an area shelter wondering where his people had gotten to, he kept waiting and waiting, they could not be bothered to go reclaim him. That's ok, they clearly didn't deserve this very good boy anyway, and we're so happy to have gotten to spend time with him! Romeo's a 50-55lb dorky guy who loves to play play play. Best guess is that he'll be right around 1 year of age in mid-May. He's a super cool character who has an easy going personality around the house, but is the first one to put his nose into things once the slightest hint of fun is in the air. He can be a bit of a pesky teenager at times, but what almost year old blockyhead isn't. Romeo's great with the crate (he had nothing to do with that crate pad exploding!), he's got stellar leash manners, especially for a young dog, he's housebroken and quiet, and he said not to tell you that he sometimes shoplifts off of the coffee table when nobody's looking. We promised we would not say a word, shh! Counter surfing? It's not unheard of, but in his defense he does not put all 4 feet up there. Yeah, ok, there's some dorky boy dog shenanigans from time to time, but look how handsome! (Frat boy, I swear) This goofy youngster gets along really well with other dogs, he's even cool with being told off by bossy elders when they've had enough of his peskiness. Cats? No idea, but he will chase a squirrel up a tree in a skinny minute, so you'd probably have your work cut out for you. He thinks kids are great fun. Little kids think he's a bit too enthusiastic, but dog savvy kids would have an absolute blast in the yard wearing this guy out...and he'd doing a great job of wearing them out too! He's a super fun guy who will do well with adopters who have some dog savvy and appreciate a bit of young dog shenanigans. He promises to do his best to stay handsome and flash his big, clueless smile at you at every opportunity. Clearly we think he's downright nifty, are you thinking same? Pop on over to southofthebully.com and fill out an application to meet your next partner in crime, he said he'd like to see what this Brewery stuff is all about!

Adopt Romeo and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Romeo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Romeo's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Romeo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Romeo's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Romeo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Romeo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Romeo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Romeo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
