About this Dog
Meet Barry, a sweet almost 9-year-old Labrador/Beagle mix with a gentle soul and a lifetime of love to give. Barry is crate trained, housetrained, and knows all his basic commands—he’s the kind of dog who just wants to be your steady, loyal companion. Barry dreams of a calm, quiet home where he can be your one and only, without young children, and ideally with someone who’s home often to share his days. At this stage in life, he’s not asking for much—just a soft bed, kind words, and someone to love him through his golden years. If your heart has room for a senior who will reward you with unwavering devotion, Barry is ready to meet you. Submit your application today and give him the happily-ever-after he deserves. Please note that some of Barry's picture maybe from when he was younger! If you are interested in adopting Barry , please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **

Adopt Barry and Receive Barry's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Barry's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Barry's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Barry, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Barry's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Barry was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Barry’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Barry’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Barry’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
