About this Dog
I came to the shelter when my owner could no longer care for me. I am the SWEETEST girl! Shelter staff immediately started talking about how sweet I am after they met me. Like many dogs in NC, I am currently heartworm positive (heartworms are transmitted by mosquito bites). OCAS will be helping by beginning my treatment but you'll need to follow up with your veterinarian! During treatment I will be on an oral medication and will need to get a topical solution monthly until I have a Negative Heartworm Test. If you have any questions about this please ask to speak with a member of the medical staff.INSIGHTS FROM MY FREINDS/FOSTER/ADVENTURE BUDDIES:`Coffee is not only sweet but also unbelievably smart. Coffee will shower you with lots of love and licks whenever she has a chance. She likes to chew on grass when walking and loved after-walk training session (she learned paw!) Coffee is not a shy dog at all, she wants to say hello to other dogs and is always ready to start playing. Given enough space she will run and roll around with other furry friends and show you what it means to be âyoung and energeticâ. She is very aware of her surroundings and good at reading the room. With that being said, Coffee was either taking a nap or munching on her bully stick very enthusiastically when we were working. Coffee stops by very gently to remind you about a water break and her bio-break. She will be on your lap and adorably fall asleep when you are laying on a couch. Her ears are super soft to stroke with and will help you decompress as you start your slow evening. Overall, we believe Coffee will thrive in a household with a good structure and presence. She deserves good loving pawrents!`My adoption fee has been fully sponsored.Adopt me and pay $0.00!!!

Adopt COFFEE** and Receive COFFEE**'s Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, COFFEE**'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is COFFEE**'s current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the COFFEE**, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming COFFEE**'s contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and COFFEE** was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, COFFEE**’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the COFFEE**’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, COFFEE**’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
