About this Dog
Henley came to our shelter when her owner could no longer care for her.Henley is a sweetie and she recently did very well at an event away from our shelter. She met many people (adults and kids) and she hung out with other shelter dogs. Good girl!My adoption fee has been fully sponsored.Adopt me and pay $0.00!!!Dog day out participants: Henley is a coach potato or chill DDO. No long walks and we are unsure how she does with stairs (she's an older gal).INSIGHTS FROM HER ADVENTURE BUDDIES:`Henley was a great girl the entire time. She is definitely a couch potato and loves snuggles and belly rubs. She does like to be outside but needs shorter, leisurely walks since she's a bit older. She primarily likes to lay in the grass and observe. She does great with meeting new people, kids, and other dogs (reportedly does best with dogs that respect her personal space, so she definitely needs proper, slow introductions to other pets). She does need help getting into the car, but does okay on the stairs as long as you give her some time. Henley would make a great addition to any family that is able to give her an endless amount of hugs and snuggles!``Henley is a gentle, loving senior pup who will absolutely steal your heart. Sheâs the ultimate cuddle buddy and spends most of her time napping or asking for belly rubsâher favorite thing in the world. While she doesnât have the stamina for long walks, she delights in leisurely strolls where she can sniff to her heartâs content. Henley is incredibly mellow and non-reactive; whether itâs people, dogs, or other animals, she simply observes quietly without a fuss. Sheâll follow you from room to room like a little shadow, always wanting to be close. Though she can handle stairs slowly, she does need some help getting in and out of cars or up onto the couch. On a leash, sheâs a dreamâcalm, steady, and easy to walk. As long as you have a cozy spot for her to nap and the time for belly rubs, Henley would be the perfect dog for you.``We went on a walk, although it was short, Henley got tired out. She laid down for a while and got lots of cuddles. She is such a love bug and loves being around people. She is very relaxed and mellow.``She instantly wants to snuggle into you. If you lay down or sit down, she finds the best nook to just settle in, roll on her back, and ask for a belly rub.`

Adopt HENLEY and Receive HENLEY's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, HENLEY's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is HENLEY's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the HENLEY, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming HENLEY's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and HENLEY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, HENLEY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the HENLEY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, HENLEY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
