About this Dog
My adoption fee has been fully sponsored.Adopt me and pay $0.00!!!Hello all! This is Bella Ruse (Roose, RuRu, she has a few nicknames) originally came to us when her owner had to move. Bella is a high energy doggo who requires someone that can help her get all of her dog zoomies out in a healthy manner, like nice walks through the park or daily playtime with hard chew-toys that won't rip! Due to her high energy and size, Bella may do best in a home with older children. Bella is reported to be house-trained as well. Her previous owner did report that she does not do well with cats and will need to be in a home without cats or small animals. As always we recommend slow and monitored introductions between Bella and any other people or dogs in the home. She has done vey well on adventures outside of the shelter, such as a hike. INSIGHTS FROM HER ADVENTURE BUDDIES:`Bella was initially very excited to go out and begin her day. She did quite well when some other dogs barked at her - she did not react which was great! She had a soft body, confident smile and waggy tail during the hike! She also encountered a bicyclist and did not react and when people wanted to pet her she was very gentle and allowed for some scratches!``Bella Ruse and I took a trip down to the beautiful property of Blue Dog Farm. Bella Ruse knows how to jump in and out of the car and loves the wind on her lovely nose. A seatbelt is very much needed as she wants to ride shotgun but for her safety and others we kept her in the back. Once we arrived in the property she was ready to go! She did pull for about 5 minutes but quickly settled into a lovely rhythm. We went on a 3-mile walk and she had a loose leash (no pulling) except for the very beginning when she was excited. I like to bring two leashes for extra grip but quickly changed her to just one as she showed me she did not need the second. She is a wonderful walker! Once we got done with our walk we took a trip to see our wonderful friends from Blue Dog, Ben and Marla. We sat with them in the private dog park area, turned on the splash pad, and met some alpaca friends and Pyrenees working dogs. She showed excitement and wanting to play. With slow and monitored introduction she may be good with play mates around her size or bigger. Once she had her fun with the splash pad we took our adventure down to Merritts for a good BLT. She slept in the car and once again jumped in and out like she knew what she was doing! We sat and ate some bacon and saw from a far some dogs on leash. She did not react but did show interest in meeting them. Being good sports we just said hi from a far and gave her treats as rewards for being such a good girl and respecting their space and our orders. Once we were done we headed back to the shelter smelling the fresh air the whole way back to OCAS. Bella Ruse is available for Foster. Adoption. Rescue. She has been struggling in the shelter setting but with some good outside time she will thrive in a home environment.``Bella Ruse is such a sweet, friendly girl, I had a blast with her! Sheâs very curious, and liked investigating the apartment and sniffing around outside. She did very well in the car and around strangers walking outside. Bella was excited to explore, but calmed down after acclimating to her surroundings. She is very smiley and very cuddly, and took naps on the couch after playtime outside or with her toys. Bella would be a great companion for anyone, sheâs so easy to love!`

Adopt BELLA RUSE and Receive BELLA RUSE's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BELLA RUSE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is BELLA RUSE's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the BELLA RUSE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming BELLA RUSE's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BELLA RUSE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BELLA RUSE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the BELLA RUSE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BELLA RUSE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
