We will be looking for YOUR application! Jax has the most beautiful eyes. He turned 8 weeks old mid-May and is now ready to explore the world. His first adventure will be to find his forever home. Jax is working on house training with many trips outside each day. He will need to be taken outside on a regular basis in his new home also to reinforce house breaking. He is doing great so far! Jax likes to play with toys and is good with the other dogs in his foster home. Jax is currently not crated but is good about asking to go outside for potty breaks. Puppies have a natural tendency to nip, mouth and play bite. So they may not be appropriate for young, small children who are not used to living with a dog. If left alone for too long, Jax might cry/bark, so he may not be a good fit for apartments, condos or townhome with shared walls unless the adopter works from home. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Jax"s Mother was killed by another dog when she gave birth. So sad but a rescue saved them and bottle feed them for weeks. After they were bottle feed, Best Friend Pet Adoption admitted two of the puppies. Jett and Jax are both looking for their forever homes. Can you provide a wonderful home for them? Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized. Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions. We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jax was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jax’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jax’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jax’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
