Please go to the BFPA website or below to submit your application. Meet Rocky – Your New Adventure Buddy with a Heart of Gold! Rocky is a lovable, high-energy 1 year old pup with a heart as big as his puppy-dog eyes! This sweet boy is all about love, play, and being your constant companion. Whether he’s catching a ball, greeting every dog and person on a walk, or snuggling on the couch after a long day of adventure, Rocky is truly the best of all worlds. Personality & Energy: Rocky is pure joy in dog form—silly, affectionate, and full of bouncy puppy energy. He’s super friendly with everyone he meets and is especially gentle with children. While he can be calm and cuddly, he’s also always ready for a hike, a game of fetch, or an outing to your favorite dog-friendly spot (he’s a hit wherever he goes!). Other Dogs & Pets: Rocky gets along great with other dogs and could thrive in a home with a canine buddy—or be happy as an only dog as long as he gets lots of love and attention. He’s not a good fit for a home with cats (those little fluffs are way too tempting to chase!). Ideal Home: Rocky would love a home with a fenced yard and maybe even a doggy door so he can zoom around and explore safely. Apartment life isn’t really his speed—he needs space to stretch his legs and chase bunnies (or at least try to!). He’d be happiest with someone who works from home or is around often. He thrives on companionship and loves being part of the action. House Trained & Crate Trained: He’s fully housebroken and crate trained (he hangs out in his crate when you're out), and he’s already great on a leash—though a harness is best for those moments when a rabbit dares to cross his path! Smart & Loving: Rocky is bright, eager to learn, and very motivated to please. He picks up on new things quickly and loves both mental and physical activity. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rocky was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rocky’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rocky’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rocky’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
