Now just to get this out of the way, I have very limited sight, but my heart is full of love—and my purrs are loud enough to prove it! I get around just fine, and I’ve already mastered the litter box like a champ and navigating the house like I built it! Basically, I’m a healthy playful boy who’s ready to take on the world! I’m the kind of kitten who wants to be with you always. Snuggling? Yes, please! Naps curled up on your lap? My favorite! I’ll play hard when I’m in the mood, especially with toys that jingle, crinkle, or rattle—anything that makes a little noise so I can track it. However, I do need a calm, safe environment. No dogs or young kids, please. But I’d love a gentle feline friend who understands that I’m a little different and can help me feel safe. I’m incredibly adaptable and I just need someone who will love me for who I am—someone who understands special needs kitties like me and sees how special that really is. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Peeps was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Peeps’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Peeps’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Peeps’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
