The link to our application is https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC. Meet Apricot This smart boy is looking for a dog savvy forever family who's excited to have a companion who likes to learn. Apricot is a super sweet puppy who didn't have the easiest start to life, but is learning all about people and other dogs and making big strides! He really enjoys meeting new people and exploring new places, especially if there's snacks involved. Apricot is still learning how to be calm and chill with other dogs so his new family should be prepared for very slow introductions if there's another dog in the home. Apricot qualifies for 4 months (or 12 sessions) of free 1:1 training once adopted. He is crate trained and because he's still a puppy, working on being more consistent with his potty habits outside of the crate. If you have the right home for Apricot, please complete an application right away! He is so excited to find his forever home. Apricot is part of a puppy litter that someone was giving away for free. Best Friend Pet Adoption admitted them to our rescue to make sure they have proper medical care and find loving homes. Could one of those homes be with you? Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. Applicants ideally should live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a Best Friend Pet Adoption veterinarian in the Cary area for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized. Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions. We therefore prefer applicants live within an hours drive of Cary NC. Adopt Apricot and Receive Apricot's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Apricot's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Apricot's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Apricot, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Apricot's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Apricot was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Apricot’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Apricot’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Apricot’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
