With his partially brindled black-and-white coat and soulful eyes, Coco is a true companion dog—one who wants to be by your side, whether chasing after his favorite ball or curling up for a relaxing evening on the couch.Coco is a high-energy pup who thrives on activity. He absolutely loves playing fetch, chewing on a good bone, and soaking up all the affection he can get. He’s a smart boy who knows commands like sit, stay and go to your place, and even responds excitedly to “Do you want your food?”—especially if it involves his favorite treats like cheese or apple slices!Because Coco can be reactive when meeting new dogs, he’s looking for a home where he can get some support in this area. He’s never shown aggression toward people, but due to his size and strong personality, a household without small children would be the best fit. A secure, fenced yard would be ideal for him to burn off energy, but he’ll also need a patient and experienced pet parent who can manage his leash reactivity and give him structured exercise.At home, Coco is a loving, devoted companion who just wants to be near his favorite people! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Coco was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Coco’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Coco’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Coco’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
